Kristin- Marie Pernicano

Kristin-Marie Pernicano (“KP”) is a seasoned strategic and operational advisor with over 15 years of experience empowering founders, executives, and organizations to achieve sustainable growth. As the founder and principal of KmP Consulting, LLC, she specializes in serving as a fractional COO, strategic advisor, and operational architect, guiding companies across a range of sectors through transformative growth.

Kristin-Marie has an exceptional ability to identify leadership and organizational inefficiencies and implement scalable frameworks tailored to high-growth environments. Her expertise includes developing operational strategies, enhancing team dynamics, and up-leveling finance and compliance systems that enable businesses to navigate complexities with clarity and confidence.

KP has been an Adjunct Professor at New York University (NYU) for more than 11 years. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Finance, Competitive Strategy, Human Resources, Consulting Strategies, Sports Management and Leadership in Crisis. Her teaching reflects her passion for developing future leaders who leverage the diversity of backgrounds, ideas, and experiences to make meaningful contributions in life.

Before founding KMP Consulting, Kristin-Marie built a distinguished career in financial services, holding trading compliance roles at Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, and Merrill Lynch. She was recognized for her expertise in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, managing global compliance strategies, and advising leadership on trading operations.

Kristin-Marie holds a Master of Science in Sports Business from NYU and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & English from SUNY Albany. She was a mentor-coach with America Needs You, and is an executive network member of Dreamers & Doers. Outside of her professional endeavors, KP is an avid fitness enthusiast, marathon runner and an accomplished Muay Thai athlete, having earned the title of 2008 WKA North American Champion.

Kristin-Marie’s leadership philosophy is centered on fostering empathy, motivation, and diversity— principles she co-developed into the ThEME Framework for effective management. Her unique blend of strategic insight, operational expertise, and passion for empowering underrepresented voices has positioned her as a trusted advisor and transformative leader in every arena she enters.
